Granhults Church, situated north of Lenhovda truly is a cultural treasure. It was build around year 1220 and is the oldest wooden church in Sweden. In connection with the Church you will also find Granhults heritage centre. Guided tours for groups can be booked in advanced at +46-70-2435948
The church was built about 1220 during the major Romanesque church building period and is an unusually well-preserved medieval wooden church from the 1220s. Next to the church, in the old assistant vicar’s residence from the 18th century, is the Granhult Rural Community Centre
